Choo-Choo!

Jess was out with the ladies today so I was clear to get up to mischief. As luck would have it, Tangmere was coming into Carlisle hauling a touring train.  I stationed on platform 4 expecting Tangmere in on 3 as is customary and got chatting to the usual bunch of characters,  I asked a chap if he'd come far and he replied "Toronto".. I had to ask him again to be sure.. Apparently they don't have much of a heritage steam scene in Canada so he popped over !
Reasonably on time Tangmere hauled in and was switched over to platform1, not much chance of a decent shot when she came in.
I hurried over there to be greeted by a melee of passengers having disembarked trying to get a selfie in front of it. It didn't much calm down before Tangmere backed out down to Upperby to turn the loco around for the return journey. it was all a bit low key, not even a blast of the whistle :-(
Having turned around, the train would return in 90mins to pick up the passengers and then return south. 
I retreated to the pub . 
On return order was restored, Tangmere backed in to platform 3 and there was whistle, smoke and steam a plenty. She blasted off , I was completed smoked and steamed out and could barely see anything for 50% of my shots.
