Unfolding Cycads

Well today is my last day of sick leave! I am returning to work tomorrow, yay.

Just got the all clear from my doctor who said all is healing well, and I'm good to drive (have been driving small distances over the weekend) and return to work.

Martin has been looking after a neighbour's cycad as spring is producing a lot of new growth.  He's been spraying it with a special spray which prevents the blue bottle moths (or whatever they're called) from laying eggs in the new growth.  This cycad is coming along beautifully and today it was my turn to spray it.  Loved the way the sun is coming through the branches and the leaves are unfolding. How lovely is nature???

Okay .... sick leave over and it's back to work I go!!!
