The Shape of Things

We finally managed to get to the British Still Life exhibition at Pallant House and were so glad we did.  It was enormous fun, room after room of interesting work by interesting painters.  Many we knew, many we didn’t but all British, or based in Britain.  A lot from Pallant House’s own collection and so many women painters too.  But also sculpture, this installation is a Cornelia Parker and I blipped it, not just because I could do my own self portrait but also because it was so tangible.  I had itchy fingers just standing near it.  

A lot of rain was forecast but not much materialised.  I went to PIlates first thing which was good for reshaping me.
