Hazy

Not just the calendar is turning from summer to autumn today - the weather is, too. A layer of high clouds has been drawing in, turning the sky greyish white with the sun as just a lighter blob in it. 

My friend and neighbour B didn’t have time for a walk this weekend, so I went on my own. Many people were out and about this afternoon, as it may be the last dry day for a while, and definitely the last chance to go out in light summer clothes. Today it is still quite warm at 22°C, but if the forecast is correct, we’ll have only a maximum of 11°C  by next weekend.
