Piccalilli

I got 3 packets of runner beans in a recent Morrison’s TGTG bag. So I bought a couple of cauliflowers and a cucumber and started making some piccalilli. It will sit in this salt overnight and I’ll make it tomorrow.

Did a bit more tidying in the garden, made a bread and butter pudding ( with cinnamon fruited tea cakes from the same TGTG bag), and a few more domestic duties.

Remembered to ring dad before Strictly come dancing started, and then sat and watched it. Amazed to see how well the blind contestant did - that must take total trust in your partner, and she must be a remarkable communicator to be able the teach him what to do.
