Apple and sage jelly

I stewed the apple and sage yesterday and left it to drain through the jelly bag overnight. So once I realised I wasn’t going to band tonight - it was cancelled :( , I decided I get this made.

I get some sort of deep seated primal satisfaction from preserving food, and especially so when all that has been purchased is the sugar. Apples were  from where I work on a Wednesday evening, sage was from pruning the sage plant in the garden yesterday.

Determined to take a more exciting photo tomorrow!

Saw MR MD and Bezziepet at work today - sadly no apple trees at this workplace - and I became the blip for Bezziepet today.
