Misty

A warm but very windy for a walk over moorland to see the misty hills to the South.

Skylarks still calling and displaying despite the conditions and a few of the last Swallows keeping low over the cattle.

I volunteered to do some shopping at the CO-OP and managed OK getting some nice fresh soup and my favourite filled pasta. 

We still get newspapers delivered so I also paid that bill and some in advance to help them. I wonder how long they will go on delivering they are already the  last in the area.

We cut the grass and it was quite long so it must have been many weeks since we last tidied up.

We rarely watch Horse Racing these days but we did watch a little of the races from Ayr in the hope of views of Arran but we must have watched the wrong minutes and had no joy.
