Purple Patch

I haven’t mentioned it all week but l started with a rotten cold on Tuesday. Not wanting to spoil things for anyone l dosed myself up and battled on determined to enjoy my holiday and l did.
Thought l was over the worse by Friday but l slept really poorly last night and the cold is back with a vengeance today.
Nevertheless l’ve done a holiday wash, been to the supermarket, got a new strap fitted for my watch, posted two Vinted parcels and finally collected my  new winter boots which have been on order from Germany ( arriving at the shoe shop in Ilkley while l was away).
Made some salads and had a quick tidy in the garden.
Pleased to see a few purple flowers so that’s my blended blip.
Now for Strictly, it’s a marathon tonight, then bed.
