Seven Sisters
We left Hove at around 10.30 and drove to see the Seven Sisters, stopping to view the Long Man of Wilmington on the way.
We had planned to visit both earlier in the week but the weather has been so glorious we haven’t ventured far from base.
Lots at the viewing platforms to observe the cliffs so it wasn’t easy to get a decent shot. I also wished l had my Nikon with me but my phone had to do.
We all were amazed at how turquoise the sea looked.
As it is a National Trust site there was the obligatory tea room so we decided to stop there for lunch instead of eating at Lewes as we had first planned.
That didn’t stop us calling in at Lewes for a quick walk up the high street. We looked in a few shops to try and see anything that Adele would like to wear when her and Tim get married ( no date set yet but it will be in the next twelve months).
Then we began the long journey home but we did it in six and a half hours choosing the A1 instead of the M1.
So now l’m home and l expect as l write this Tim and Adele will have got home too.
We all agreed what a good holiday it has been.
