Mischief On The Clocktower
My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,
Briar organised Blood on the Clocktower Night II. It was to take place after work on Level 5 in Waterloo Quay.
But because people, there were lots of dropouts on the day. Poor Briar was left running around, trying to bully people into it. She got us eight which is kind of the minimum for a decent game, I think.
You will be pleased to hear that it went really well and all the newbie players really enjoyed it. It's a great game! I can see a wide circle building up really quickly.
A big part, of course, is the people involved. Everyone has a good laugh in between rounds, and finding out who the EVIL ONE is, almost becomes secondary.
And no-one enjoys himself more than Luke. He had a GREAT time. In today's pic you can see him taking selfies during the night time phase of the game when EVERYONE IS SUPPOSED TO BE ASLEEP.
In the extra, you can see him touching Jeff in his sleep. It's just wrong. But very funny.
Jeff - scarred by previous experience - decided he could not trust Luke OR Manda. Instead he grabbed Ollie - with whom he often works - so they could have private chats and try to figure out who was who.
"I'm the Virgin!" announced Luke happily, to anyone who would listen.
"Will you get OUT of here?!?" said Jeff, as Luke tried to insert himself into the conversation between himself and Ollie.
"But I'm the Virgin!" repeated Luke.
No-one believed him. He was put up for execution the very first time. But the evil went unvanquished and the game continued.
"Told you! I'm the Virgin!" said Luke.
The game played out and once again Team Evil won. This was despite Jeff, who really did play a good game. He put together the clues and worked things out. But no-one listened to him. And in fact it turns out the Demon was....
"OLLIE YOU F*CKING B*STARD!!" said Jeff.
Yes, it turned out that the one mistake Jeff had made - right from the start - was in sharing ALL his thoughts and strategies will Ollie. Who used it against him and happily murdered Jeff on the final night.
"I'm so sorry," said Ollie.
He's a very nice demon.
"NEVER TRUST THIS F*CKING GUY!!" said Jeff.
So a great evening! This is such a fun game, I thoroughly recommend it. But never trust Ollie.
S.
