Sweet Water Beach

This morning we caught the little ferry boat that runs regularly from Chora Sfakion to this beach then on to Loutro and back again. The beach sits beneath incredibly high, steep cliffs (See extra) and is only accessible by boat or on foot along the coast path. It’s name comes from the fresh water springs that bubble up through the pebbly beach.

We spent all day reading or snorkelling apart from having breakfast and lunch in the excellent taverna built over the water.
