Shaggy Ink Cap

At last a bit of a lie in, and with that I still felt weary when I eventually got up.  I’m not sure where the morning went.  TT went to church, I pottered and did chores, but was not very focused.  It was a lovely day, so the washing was out and late morning I did pop out for a quick walk, leaving TT to cook a lasagne for tea.

After lunch TT and I headed over to Tyninghame and had a really lovely walk, along the track and then back along the beach in the sunshine.  The tide was in, was going out so luckily we didn’t have to leave the beach on our walk.  We then continued on around the coast, enjoying the fabulous clear views in all directions.

As ever we came home via the supermarket, and then we enjoyed tea.  There was so much leftover, as we have no human dustbin to polish it off.  It just means there are leftovers for another night.  Result!

Later we facetimed TT’s mum, and I got a message from BB to say he was heading out with friends – I’m not sure where though.

It is well and truly fungus season.  I spotted this shaggy ink cap this morning,, and the fly agaric (extra) this afternoon. The second extra is a view of the Bass Rock from our walk.
