Eyes Front!

We were up early as the painter arrived 8.30am on his third day of doing our hall, stairs and landing. He'll finish tomorrow and we'll enjoy a lay in on the weekend!  

Early afternoon we set off from home on a local walk over Coppett Hill (a community owned nature reserve) that runs a mile or so to the River Wye under Yat Rock. Just as we started our ascent, a cat sat outside the first cottage, watched us intently. The beautiful tree behind and yellow flower in the grass just set the scene for me.  We walked quietly, to try and see a deer, but only saw the rear of one darting away - so the 'Cats eye's have it!'
