Last Sip and Then On Our Way

After I took yesterday's photo of mom hummer and her young one, I didn't see even one more hummer all day. I caught this one early this morning and that's been it. I think that they're truly on their migration. Although some will travel only as far as South Florida and the Keys, most are heading south to Mexico and South America where many will spend their winter. In any event, I look forward to their return beginning in March when the males will start showing up looking for our bright flowers and full feeders. m
