Plumbago

Aka Cape leadwort, blue plumbago or Cape plumbago, Plumbago auriculata. This 'easy to grow' and rather drought resistant plant with incredible blue flowers is a native of South Africa. It can get 'bushy' if not trimmed back occasionally but I've not found it to be particularly invasive. This one enjoys a spot in the yard where it gets morning sun. I love its blue flowers!
