A glorious summer's day for our longish walk with lunch out. 
There were quite a few dragonflies about, and the one in the extra was going to be my main. A little later though, these two people were nicely placed for this week's wide wednesday theme, so hopefully the devil's darning needle won't mind.
The average dragonfly lifespan is 7-56 days, although larval development for some of them can be as long as five years.
