Grindewald day 3

My collage cannot convey the feelings engendered by a day in the Swiss mountains.

Top - a shot from our hotel bedroom window early this morning.

Middle - the gondola ride which traverses the face of the Eiger mountain. It is an exceptional piece of engineering and offers passengers a thrilling ride in the close proximity of this famous mountain.

Bottom - the view from the Eigergletscher Railway station,  which allows passengers to ride to the top of the Jungfrau by means of a 3000ft cog railway through the bowels of the Eiger.

It is almost too much to take in ..
