Volunteering

It was the afternoon for volunteering down at the ponds and the main task was removing an ivy-covered branch of a hawthorn tree that had fallen over the path.
The first pic was taken a couple of days ago, the other 3 today.
R brought his chainsaw and he and Mr Rat did most of the cutting and the rest removed the piles of branches. 
We also cut back some vegetation encraoching on the paths and picked litter. The beavers are back.
In the morning it was Keepfit and then I took a friend for her shopping.
This evening was a Zoom Prayer meeting.
It was hot, still 22C at 7pm so I suspect it might have been our hottest day of 2024. After the volunteering I spent some time in the garden doing not very much.
