Zadar and the Balkans, from Preko, Ugljan..

Plunged into adventure today, taking a 25 minute ferry crossing to Preko, on the island of Ugljan.  Nothing happened!
The above panorama is intended to show Zadar crouched beneath the mountains which I believe to be the Balkans, or part thereof.   The clouds seem to be a permanent fixture, omnipresent, except when hidden by other clouds.
Preko is a charmingly quiet village, where the locals avoid contact  with visitors, just as on the mainland.  Not complaining about this aspect.  Just need to recall not chatting with locals up the West Highlands and north Wales.
Extras:  First two are of adjacent windows of a shut shop. Not sure what it was vending, but I don't want any, thank you.
No. 3 is of a gravestone of a lair apparently ready for two newbies, not yet dead???   No.4 is just a couple of ruins separated by time and space ;-)
