As seen from Ribchester in the Ribble valley.  A glimpse of the River Ribble in the foreground. 
What a perfect day to be exploring the village and the Roman  remains, such as the Bath House, we have visited the museum in the past so we made the most of the warm sunshine, and some delicious food in the excellent café.
We even saw seven Red Admiral butterflies on a small Buddleia bush, a little like busses, none to be seen, then a group appear.
 The drive home through country lanes, with the top down, was a plus
