Visitors

Paul’s friends Sami and Mike stopped by today for a quick visit and we got to meet their new son Charlie. I’d been out shopping but managed to get back before they left. He’s a real cutie (aren’t they always, only 10 weeks old).

After lunch I dragged myself back out again to another outdoors shop to try and find a padded jacket and some walking boots. I got the jacket but haven’t found the right boots yet. A couple of possible options but they didn’t have my size so I’m not sure. And stupidly I forgot to note down which styles I’d tried on so I can’t try ordering online. Bother - for some reason I found it all very stressful and probably wasn’t thinking straight by the end. Oh well, at least I got the jacket this time.
