On da Sooth Kert

A beautiful sunny morning, cloudy with sunny spells in the afternoon, and a sunny evening.  Breezy most of the day.

Up early, headed into work.  Got my jobs for the week, a week on the south essykert (bin lorry).  A day with Jack driving, and John a loader with me.  We collected black bag bins from Quarff, Fladdabister, Levenwick, Boddam and Virkie, then helped out the town boys with a paper recycling load.  Walkies with Sammy after work.  I've been working in the shop this evening, and a busy night.  Brief moment with my feet up, then bed! 

As most are aware, there's not many places I've not been in Shetland, but there are many roads I've still not been down.  We are heading into all sorts of places with the essykert, and seeing many new views.  I have been down this street before, but that was over 20 years ago.  Lots of changes since then, mostly the trees and bushes.  Jack helping out load the essykert at Pund Houll, Quarff.
