Still building after all these years

I raced into the living room to put the final touches to my new video only to discover that something had put the lyrics out of sync. ARGH!!! G then suddenly announced the plan for the day, so I had to jump in the shower to get ready.

The first stop was The Old Library where she went in on her own and emerged with eight more out-of-print books! As we were in the neighbourhood, I drove to The Courtyard to check it out. It is a relatively new cafe with some interesting features. I couldn't believe how busy and noisy it was. We walked out into the courtyard and then decided it was too loud to stop for a coffee so we went into the Lime Tree Cafe's branch next door. That had a few free tables but we didn't stay there either. Instead, we drove on to the Organic Food Store which is where my extra is taken.

If all that going in and out of the car on a hot day wasn't enough, we had one last stop in Wafi before finally getting home, at which point, I needed to have a siesta before returning to fixing the lyrics on my new video. It took all day, and I was so pleased to publish it before the clock ticked over to a new day!

My blip was taken while we were stopped in a queue near Burj Khalifa. G loves the twisted building which she refers to as "our own Infinity Tower".
