Pool view

And I am caught up with nearly a week of back blips! Phew.

It's been a good day with time to relax, and work (the ironing - *sigh*) and having a fantastic lunch courtesy of The Elite Club! I signed up for it in 2022 and was reminded that my membership expires at the end of the month and that I still had several vouchers to use. I chose the Italian restaurant Al Fresco (my extra).

We arrived at 12:40 after battling heavier-than-normal traffic to get out of Karama. It is Onam! It was equally busy at the hotel with loads of people trying to use three lifts. I later found out that Redeemer Church now meets there! We got escorted to the restaurant and learnt that an American diplomat was going to be dining there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. G chose lemon-seared salmon while I had a roast chicken. The lady who escorted us to the restaurant then gave us a tour of the other food outlets and then showed us the swimming pool. What a view!

We came straight home to rest, relax and get ready for a new week. G's kids cancelled their online lessons, so she enjoyed a few more hours with one of the "new" books she bought yesterday.
