Procession

Sunday morning in Leon - some confraternities were setting off with bagpipes and drums to march their saints from the monastery attached to our hotel to the cathedral. This is Baby Jesus.

We spent the day looking at more early medieval sculptures and architecture, mingling with the crowds, and people-watching in the Plaza Major sitting with a beer in the shade.
