HS2.

These are pictures I've been meaning to take for some time.

HS2 will run through and parallel to our village.

 On the right of the top picture is our village, and where this track is was once our cricket ground. On the bottom picture, if you look closely there are two houses. These were once in a row of houses where the gap is, and this is where the track will run, the homes were demolished.

This utter mess goes on for miles round us. I do hope they plant lots of trees and greenery when they're done.

As you can see, we live on very chalky soil!

I'm adding a more cheerful extra. This came up on my memories today. It's Ali's brother who lives in the USA. This was when he was the cover boy for the Bearded Collie club of America's magazine.
