Colorful fungus

Another very misty morning. Back by my studio I noticed a number of really pretty looking fungi both reds and yellows. The vibrant green moss really set their colors off. I had a tough time trying to decide my main blip. The unmolested fungus or the one that has had a few nibbles taken from it and one culprit was still there! It was a toss-up.
Amazingly, the clouds burned off and it's turned out to be a really sunny day. At the moment the winds are holding at 34 mph for Saturday and about 1.5 inches of rain. Again, we'll just have to wait and see what actually happens.
I keep forgetting to mention in here that the other morning, at about 4:30, I was awakened by a Great Horned Owl hooting away. It was quite close in the trees by the nook. Just a bit farther away another was answering back. It was pretty magical.
