Denholms
What a long day.
Parkrun at 9.30, at the Kirkcaldy course. It was good. I enjoyed it, and felt much fitter than the last two Saturdays.
A quick shower and then out the door to catch buses (2) to Glasgow.
A pint with my cousin in The Horseshoe, and then the short train ride to Mount Florida to see Queen's Park v Greenock Morton.
The train travel and the walk to/from the stations made my cousin a little thirsty, so we had a quick stop at Clockwork to take care of that wee worry.
Spiders had not beaten Morton in the league for 63 years. They did today. It was only 1-0, but they all count plus we played good football.
After the game we popped into Denholms (across the street from Central Station) because Mike need to rest his sore knee. I got my Blip there. A nice, genuine, old-style pub.
Then I headed for the bus station, and home.
Full on, tiring, but lots of fun.
