The Remainers

There must be 30 or so wood ducks in the inlet just now, but I can't seem to get close to photograph them. Most often, they are not on my mind as I amble along and the first I know of them is when they take off with a bleating cry.

Today at least, there were one or two that didn't heed the masses call and remained long enough for a shot or two. Nice soft light and some careful processing gave me a usable image.
