Garden
Taken to Malleny Garden for a wander round.
The sun was out most of the time whilst still a bit chilly could stop & sit to enjoy the flowers in the Glasshouse.
Many of the roses had finished but the perennials were still flowering & some annuals with bees & a peacock butterfly. The rowan trees were beginning to show autumn colours with their hanging berries.
Some of the wildflower meadows had been cut & rest left for beasties & birds to poke about. Herb garden was buzzing and the beans were flowering & the leeks were huge.
Trees were catching the sun.
Went back to Riccarton Garden Centre for a bit of lunch, I got some bulbs then home.
I rested in the afternoon whilst SW went & got me a heavy shop in car which will tide me over for a while.
Light tea tonight & waiting for Gardening Prog before bed again.
Malleny Garden is up kept by volunteers and NTS.
£3.50 for non members.
