Fighting against disinformation.

Exhibition at Kirkleatham Museum.
We went to see the history wardrobe, a journey through women's dress. Curated by Lucy Adlington,  the author of The Dressmakers of Auschwitz. I am going to a talk by her next Friday. I have been to a lot of her talks and they are always fascinating.
The above image is taken from one of their other exhibitions.
The third thing we saw was an exhibition about a woman called Gertrude Bell who was an explorer in the 19th century. She was born in Washington Co. Durham,  the same place I was born.
Extras show dresses from different decades.
The pink flowery dress is made from paper and made by hallmark, the greeting card people.
