Much to Luna's annoyance the Squirrels have decided the walnuts are ready to harvest.   They are taking them green, discarding the outer green shell and then eating a few and burying the rest.   I hope they leave enough to harvest naturally for the humans to enjoy.
I've managed to cut and clear the cuttings from the mixed hedges this afternoon, just the conifers to cut back now but I need help for that task.
