Blue Lagoon

Today we were up early again to get a boat to the Blue Lagoon and Gozo.

The sea was quite choppy on route and a number of people were sea sick, we arrived at the beautiful Blue lagoon for a swim stop and was put off when someone threw up into the water from the boat. I admired the lovely blue water from then boat instead! The Blue Lagoon is situated by the island Comino where there are 2 residents living there and a policeman, fireman and doctor have to travel to the island from Gozo daily.

We then went on to Gozo and then had a shuttle into Victoria which is the capital of Gozo, we didn’t get as much time here as promised by the trip so we had some lunch and a quite look around the cobbled streets and visited the citadel.

We then got a shuttle back to the port, there was due to be another stop on the way back for swimming so we decided to jump on a ferry back to Valletta instead of our boat, the ferry was much smoother on the way back.

We had a walk around the shops in Valletta stopped for an icecream and then headed back to the hotel.

Tonight we have had dinner in a lovely seafood restaurant, the food was delicious we shared a mixed seafood starter which was enough for 4 people followed by king prawn skewers. A few drinks then bed!
