Cat on a warm tin roof.....

Another frost overnight which of course meant beautiful clear blue skies. And Bene here wasn't slow in getting up on to the garage roof to catch as much of the sun's warmth as he could.

He may be my wee gumbie cat but that doesn't stop him clambering up fences and sloping roof tops if it means sun and snoozes as a reward. He's still limping on and off and I'm convinced now that it's arthritis. Mind you, he's never been an athletic cat - he's the only cat I know who could fall off the back of the sofa, who can't jump, who gets puffed playing chase-the-shadows in the garden - and then wheezes loudly as he slumps to the ground to recover!

To be honest, I was worried that he was going to fall off the roof when he started scratching himself in this shot!

But he is adorable and very, very affectionate :)
