Poppy

Another lovely sunny day, although there was a frost overnight and the temperatures remained cool most of the day.

Spent the morning practicing for a presentation I'll be doing soon - gotta say, the saying about an old dog and new tricks has come to mind more than once! I shall continue to practice though - every step in the right direction is a step closer to success.

Had a late afternoon appointment then took a walk round Isel Park - nothing much going on but it was nice to be out in the sunshine.

A bed of poppies has been planted by the local council, although not many of them are in bloom yet. I just love the papery effect of the petals, and even though yellow is not my favourite flower colour, this one did look quite stunning. Must be something to do with sunshine!
