Spanish Moon
This is the moon viewed through the olive tree outside the house. A little tweaking in photoshop required. The moon was shot at 400mm to get some definition on the craters, the olive tree was shot with a different lens at about 70mm to get the leaves nice and sharp. The two pictures were put together in photoshop and converted to monochrome with Silver Efex Pro. Its taken me three nights to get this right and it could still be better!
In other news, the garden is nearly cleared, the compost pile is epic, beyond my wildest imagination. The pool is cleaned and leaks fixed etc. will start filling tomorrow. The cat is well fed and today a young alsatian appeared in the garden, sending Harry into the Olive Tree and me into an existential crisis regarding the wellbeing of all these animals that seem to be adopting us!
