Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

It was sunny, but a very cold wind - just as well I had my hat on while crossing the Meadows! We took a walk round Quartermile. It really is a superb development. The grass is recovering where they had the Book Festival a week or so ago. I didn't have a coffee, nor yet did I have an ice cream.

JR took him out in the afternoon, while I watched the Nicola Sturgeon/ Alec Salmond programme. Quite interesting, though I wasn't living here for the start of the shenanigans. Part 2 tonight.

Tonight, Archie went running into the kitchen at the mention of his tea! Perhaps he has forgotten about the air fryer beeping?

Doubt it.

Hazel has been having a wonderful time in the sun, but home to 13° tomorrow.

So it’s been passed - pensioners will lose the £200/£300 winter fuel payments. I think it should be taken into consideration about pensioners living in Scotland. The winters are longer and colder than further south, and sometimes, the summers aren’t even worth mentioning either.
