Quilts again
I returned to Bridport this morning to grab some more shots of quilts for the organiser of the Quilt Walk – they hadn't all been put out on my last visit, and the producer of Town of Culture had asked for one or two photos for the local newspaper. I just wandered on the South Street looking for quilts in shop windows and found this one, NaturalLife, with one hanging on view. Rather than a shot of the window alone, I asked in the shop for a volunteer to brighten up the composition, and was very glad that I did.
In the Extra, there were many quilts in the Anglican church, further down the street, and this quilt was remarkable – a lady had put together the parts from all her grandchildren's baby clothes. It looked quite unique.
