Operation Refurb Day 1

The old en suite bathroom has been ripped out. New plasterboard put in. Tile grout colour selected. All done by a very nice lad who lives a few minutes up the road. Uses the local gym and knows Dylan. 

I had a very busy day. So busy that I missed my afternoon nap in fact. Took delivery of, and self assembled, six new dining room chairs. This met with universal approval as the old benches were a pain in the butt. They have been relocated to The Shack.

Having building work done is never easy but the old bathroom was falling into disrepair. I hope they are true to their word when they say they will have it done within the week…
