Went to Staines where there is a huge Asian supermarket with absolutely tons of vegan food. Stocked up with lots of tofu (the crispy hard to get variety), spices, sauces and meat alternatives. 

Some chill time in The Shack.

Fabulous long FaceTime with TGR this afternoon. She is happy on a personal level but angry about some of the things that have gone on in the world recently, particularly the case of the French woman who was drugged and systematically raped over a period of ten years. Mankind at its worse (with an emphasis on the ‘man’). We talked about how difficult it was to strike a balance between personal happiness and the horrors or modern life. You can’t let it consume you but you can’t be indifferent either.

Work starts on our new bathroom tomorrow (the small en suite in our bedroom). Hope it all goes well …
