"Oi Miss? Don't trip over the Miner!"

Another Uber:ing start to the day, taking other Mrs Biker to the dentist in Denton, followed by youngest to an appointment in Ashton Under Lyne.

Whilst in the latter a stroll was taken around the town centre to blip four life-sized bronze statues depicting a Coal Miner & three Street Urchins by Peter Walker. I always imagine the three urchins are yelling at passers-by who may be about to trip over the miner emerging from the ground. Am also glad that such an accident hasn't occured meaning legal action & removal of the sculptures, because dubious risk assessment of one of them aside, I like things like this decorating places & more importantly, feeding people's curiosity.

The rest of the afternoon was spent walking Shadow past our local Lion Foundry Bandstand, and a few hours spent staring at a laptop trying to do some home admin with a brain full of white noise. Regarding that last task, mañana...am having a soak in the bath.
