Parkrun at Windermere

Called Fell Foot, it's mostly made up of visitors. A beautiful course, through, up and round a meadow at the base of Windermere, then along the side of the water up a steep incline through the park and back into the meadow. Absolutely stunning. FK and Steve cheered me in and then we all cheered Lizzie. A lovely swim in fresh Windermere before Steve had cooked bacon and sausage on the camping stove for butties. It was a beautiful day and we pottered in the garden, chatted and read.
