Light Opera

Wondered why folk were standing on the corner taking pictures until I turned round …. !
This is the Opera House in Hannover, looking pretty impressive after a heavy shower. Yes, it’s been raining. Thunder and lightning in fact and big splats of water hitting the windows. Which is a pity because our room has got a roof terrace and I was looking forward to sitting out. Instead we found a Hannoverian brewery, ate traditional, local food and drank a very fine, local lager.
