After the storm

I was woken just before 2 this morning with huge cracks of thunder.  I really thought a big tree was coming down (we are surrounded by trees), it was so loud. I ended getting up and did try and capture it. Yesterday’s blip is a screenshot of a video I took and the sky lit up.  I read my kindle and the storm rumbled on for a couple of hours as it slowly moved away.

I fell asleep on the sofa but was woken when Mr C got up at 6.30 as he was working today so I went back to bed for a few hours.

A pretty lazy day with some cleaning in between and the sun came out this afternoon.
