Cumbria Way Part II

Today was the walk from Tarn Hows to Langdale. We set off early to avoid the rain forecast for midday.

It was slightly humid but dry and we made good progress to Skelwith bridge for coffee at Chester’s. From here along the Langdale valley - Elterwater - Chapel Stile - Baysbrown - Lanty Slees where we met Santana’s for a late lunch.

By now the rain had set in so we didn’t walk to Old Dungeon Ghtll. Next stage. Good day.
