Parish Walk

Saturday 7th September 2024

It started off more overcast than yesterday but it was another glorious day for our walk. The overcast sky kept alternating with blue sky and hot sun. As we went through the woods we made friends with this wise old owl. 

We returned to our village for lunch and were joined by three others who are no longer able to join us on the full walk. 

After lunch I went to Martin Mere as I knew "one or more" of my photos had been shortlisted for the North West Wetland Competition and was therefore on display. It was good to see all the photos. Only one of mine made it to the shortlist. I look forward to trying again next year.
