Me and my shadow

Friday 6th September 2024

A day off, which started with some exciting news. I then travelled over to SueT's. We enjoyed a chat over morning tea and then went out to Leasowe lighthouse in search of birds. We had a lovely walk and enjoyed some time photographing stonechats. Our picnic lunch was on the prom watching the gentle waves and we also saw the Queen Mary sailing in to Liverpool in the distance.

After lunch we returned to Sue's and spent another enjoyable hour in the garden photographing insects. I enjoyed watching the pond skaters but the final show of the day was this dragonfly.
