‘THIS ONE IS FOR YOU REBECCA’

Two participants at the start at parkrun this morning showing solidarity with Olympic marathon runner Rebecca Cheptegei, who suffered a horrible death earlier this week after being doused with petrol and set on fire.  

Cheptegei, who had competed for Uganda at the Paris Olympics, was allegedly attacked by her former boyfriend at her home in Kenya.

As you can see from the trees in the distance, it was very misty today, so we were denied the view across the Forth! Quietly beautiful, though, I think! (See extra)
