Gerbera Daisy Extravaganza

The weather has been quite pleasant since we got home. The windows are open to bring some of that fresh air inside. I got up early to enjoy the day. After breakfast, we got ready and headed to pick up meds. While there, I bought 10 of this year’s White House ornaments for my mother to give as her annual Christmas gift to friends and family. Hubby and I picked up some groceries at the Commissary. We prefer their meats and there are other products priced more reasonably there. Renee and Jamie still deliver routine meals from their excess though so I only have shop for meats once in a while. Since it is Flower Friday, hubby dropped me off at the Lowe’s flower shop to scope out a worthy blip. I hope you like what I found. The sun distorted the colors a little. There was actually quite a difference in the red, pink, gold and orange shades. We came home, ate lunch and I gave my aching knee a break. It felt good when I got up but walking on pavement and concrete floors irritated it for sure. Not sure how long I napped in total but I woke up at3:00 and 6:20. Hubby slept a few hours in between. Glad we had no commitments this afternoon. Wishing you some rest as the weekend begins. Stay safe. Thanks for visiting. “Plant the prettiest Daisies that you can find, water them with the depth of your hope, plant them in the depths of your soul. And let the sunlight flow.” - Kini Molia
