Just in case any of my overseas friends were puzzled by yesterday’s Blip, no cats were harmed as a result of that sign. Cats eyes are things embedded down the centre of roads. They light up at night byreflecting car headlights.
Some of us are sorry to see them go but I suspect that replacing old damaged ones is more expensive than painting white lines.
